The Petit Train de Carnac is a guided tourist train that lets visitors discover Carnac and its surroundings comfortably and accessibly. The tour includes the Carnac menhirs, Carnac beach and the harbour of La Trinité-sur-Mer, with audio commentary throughout the route.
The guided tour lasts about 55 minutes. This duration lets visitors see the main sights of Carnac without long walking distances.
The main departure point for individual visitors is the Parking du Ménec in Carnac (stop n°1), in the Maison des Mégalithes car park. The train then passes through two intermediate points, Port-En-Drô (stop n°2) and the harbour of La Trinité-sur-Mer (stop n°3), solely to pick up additional passengers or allow a passenger to alight permanently. If you get off at one of these stops, you cannot reboard the train.
Yes. The Petit Train de Carnac runs every day from April to October 8, plus the All Saints' school holidays, including Sundays and public holidays.
Yes. The Petit Train runs in all weather. In rain or strong wind the train is glazed on three sides, so you can fully enjoy your tour.
During the tour, you'll pass by the Carnac menhirs — including the alignments of Ménec, Kermario and Kerlescan. You'll also discover Carnac beach, its white sand and the harbour of La Trinité-sur-Mer.

Booking in advance is recommended, especially during busy tourist periods. Online booking is only available for departure n°1 — Parking du Ménec — and must be made at least two hours before departure. It is not possible to book online for stops n°2 or n°3.
Yes. Tickets can be bought at the ticket office at the Parking du Ménec, subject to availability.
Visitors are asked to arrive at least 15 minutes before departure to validate their ticket and board.
